AuraFlow GenAI Suite
A generative AI toolkit built around a single, unglamorous question: what does a person actually need at 2am when they can't sleep?
The problem. Most AI suites are built for demos. They showcase capabilities without answering a specific user question. For the AuraFlow suite, the question was concrete: how can AI help someone who is awake at 2am, low on energy, and unwilling to interact with a complex interface?
The approach. Everything in the suite is designed around low-friction, one-tap interactions. Voice conversations instead of typed chat. Image generation driven by single-sentence prompts. Grounded search that surfaces one answer rather than a list. The suite is a set of doors, not a control panel.
Under the hood it's all Gemini — chat, image, video, live voice, grounded search. The interesting work wasn't model selection. It was removing options. Every feature I added forced me to remove two others. The suite is small on purpose.
The outcome. A usable AI companion for a very specific, very human moment. It doesn't try to be everything. It tries to be there, in the right shape, at the right time.
What I'd do differently. I'd run it past real users much earlier. The design decisions I made intuitively were right, but I spent a lot of time second-guessing them. Ten minutes of user feedback would have saved a week.
